Welcome to the Moss Lab's cross-disciplinary initiative. While our primary research focuses on RNA structure and bioinformatics, we also apply computational methods, data orchestration, and Python programming to analyze classical texts.
Digital Stoic Library
The Digital Stoic Library provides new and accessible translations of the original Ancient Greek source texts for The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius, as well as The Enchiridion and Discourses of Epictetus. Texts are linked to key Stoic Greek terminology and philosophical commentary.
Open-access datasets and computational pipelines designed for the lexicographical and network analysis of Greco-Roman philosophical texts are available through GitHub. These tools allow researchers to model the flow of concepts, cosmology, and vocabulary across primary sources.
